... The sunny and terraced location
of the village and the steep, dry mountain meadows as well as the southern Alpine climate form the basis for herb cultivation and the occurrence of numerous wild herbs. The Irschner mountain farmers utilise these natural resources and cultivate the aromatic mountain herbs between 650 and 1100 m above sea level. The small production facilities refine the wild and garden herbs into delicious and healing specialities, which are presented and offered for sale in the Kräuterhaus Pfarrstadel. The scent and colours of the herbs can also be felt on walks and hikes through the herb village of Irschen. Experience the small natural garden world and discover the diverse flavours of alpine mountain herbs!
